Non-material amendment

A non-material amendment is a small change to an existing planning permission that the council agrees is not material. It uses a short application route rather than a fresh full application.

If the change is material, you need a variation or a new permission instead.

Amendment routes and names differ by nation; ask the local planning authority which form to use.
