Building in Wales
Wales has devolved planning and building control. Housing mixes terraces in the valleys and cities with rural and coastal homes across the country. Home Builders publishes guides and introductions across the UK; we do not carry out building work.
Planning authority: Wales has its own planning and Building Regulations framework. Applications go to the relevant Welsh local authority. Use gov.wales for official guidance.
