Full planning permission
Full planning permission seeks approval for a development with all details provided up front. Most householder extensions that need planning consent use this route.
Permission usually lasts three years unless a different period is stated. Conditions often control materials, obscure glazing and construction hours.
Time limits and forms vary; follow the local planning authority in the relevant nation.
