CDM Regulations
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations require clients, designers and contractors to manage health and safety on construction projects. Domestic clients have lighter duties but still need competent people and coordination when multiple contractors work on site.
CDM sits alongside, not instead of, planning and Building Regulations.
CDM 2015 covers Great Britain; Northern Ireland has parallel CDM regulations.
